Trouble développemental de la coordination (TDC)
Le trouble développemental de la coordination (TDC), ou d’acquisition de la coordination (anciennement appelé dyspraxie motrice), est un problème où les individus ont de nombreux problèmes avec la coordination (semblent extrêmement gauches) au point où cela leur cause des problèmes à la maison, à l'école et partout ailleurs. Il est important d'Identifier ce trouble parce qu'il existe des interventions (i.e. voir un physiothérapeute, un ergothérapeute, faire des ajustements à l'école) qui peuvent aider. Les enfants et les jeunes qui ont ce trouble mais qui ne sont pas bien identifiés courent le risque d'avoir des problèmes futurs à l'école, dans leurs relations, et de développer des problèmes de dépression et de difficultés émotives.
