The NWT Help Line provides a telephone listening support to all callers; 365 days a year. Regardless of the problem or concern, volunteers are there to provide support, information and, if necessary, referral to a local community or social service agency, The guiding principles of the organization are:

-Available every day
-Callers remain anonymous
-Calls are confidential
-Staffed by trained and caring volunteers
-We don't trace calls
-We don't use call display
