VON Simcoe County Branch is a nonprofit registered charitable organization providing in-home health services and community based programs to individuals of all ages. The Long Term Care Program includes four Adult Day Programs: Barrie, Collingwood, Orillia and Beeton as well as the In-Home Respite and Enrichment Program that is available to individuals with a diagnosis of Alzheimer Disease or related dementia. Funding is received from Local Health Integration Network (LHIN). Nursing services include Veterans Affairs Canada monitoring, footcare to veterans and general public in-home and clinic settings, wellness clinics, health education and other contract and private services. Coordinate Home At Last (HAL) Program and SMART Seniors Maintaining Active Roles Together Program.
