Description de l'évenement

This is a rare and limited opportunity to get your training locally by the originator of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Learning in the Maritimes.

Greg Kersten of The O.K. Corral ( is coming to Chester, Nova Scotia to present the 3rd equine-assisted certification seminar in NS on July 10, 11, and 12, 2014. The seminar is hosted by Carol Cleveland and Penny Bremner at the beautiful indoor/outdoor equine facility at Lobster Point, Chester, Nova Scotia.

The interest in this innovative approach to wellness and mental health is definitely growing among mental health and horse professionals. Folks are learning the powerful impact of using horses to heal, learn, and grow - especially for those who don't do well in 'talk therapy.'

This year the seminar will focus on dealing with crisis situations. This seminar is the definitive crisis-management training conducted by Greg Kersten, the originator of EAP/L, all the way from Nevada. Greg blends the basics of EAP into specific nonverbal, emotional skills to make a "bad" situation "O.K." Useful at home, at work, and in the community.
