The Ontario Self Help Network supports the development of new and existing self-help/mutual aid initiatives across Ontario. Educational workshops are offered throughout the year covering a broad range of subjects related to self-help and community building. Many of these are available over the internet. An annual Self-Help Awareness Week is also organized. The Barrie Branch operates through the Barrie offices of the Canadian Mental Health Association.
